My journey
My courageous leap!
Unhidden Potential was born in 2024 when I decided to quit my job and take a courageous leap into following my passion - moving from my zone of excellence to my zone of genius. Knowing first hand the value of strengths based development and having a trusted coach, I want to help others in their journeys.
to what-if?
Over the nearly two decades in corporate: I have been in 8+ roles, worked in 3 continents and reported to at least 12 Managers. During this time, I discovered my passion to help people grow and thrive. Leading stretch projects for employee development reinforced my desire to further invest my time and energy in this area.
...to process...
From product development projects, I transitioned to business process governance and continuous improvement. Processes stick when they make life easier for people. Working more with business processes, enabling digital tools, customer feedback and project management ignited my passion for people leadership.
...to people...
What I enjoyed most about leadership was learning more about myself and how 1:1s energized me. I learnt that motivating people to show up as their best selves was all about connecting with their unique strengths, values and goals. I went on to functional leadership roles driving excellence in Customer Experience.
An engineer by qualification, I started my career working hands-on with electrical protection devices. I enjoyed solving problems to make products better for customers. My engineering background honed my analytical thinking which I got to further develop working on products and collaborating with people.
